Our story
Why RoxConnect exists
It started with a simple problem: someone who wanted to race HYROX and couldn’t find anyone to race with.

She wanted to try HYROX
My wife heard about HYROX and wanted to race. She didn’t want to do it alone, so she asked friends to join her. I couldn’t go: I was away for work.

No partner, anywhere
I told her to look in Facebook groups, WhatsApp chats, anywhere HYROX people get together. She tried, but never found anyone who was a good match for her, so in the end she raced alone.

The idea
Finding a HYROX partner shouldn’t depend on who you happen to know. You should be able to pick your race and see who else is going and looking for a partner. So I built RoxConnect.
2026
Lisboa, together
In 2026 we raced HYROX Lisboa together, in Mixed Doubles. This time she had a partner.
What RoxConnect does
- Pick a HYROX race and see who is going and looking for a Doubles or Relay partner.
- Check past races and divisions on each profile before you team up.
- Chat, train together and join local activities between races.
Independent
RoxConnect is an independent app made in Portugal. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by HYROX; HYROX is a trademark of its respective owner.
