HYROX weights 2026/27 for every division
Official HYROX 2026/27 weights for Open, Pro, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Relay: sled push, sled pull, farmers carry, lunges and wall balls in kg and lb.
In this guide
In HYROX 2026/27, Open women push a 102 kg sled and Open men push 152 kg, while Men Pro goes up to 202 kg. Mixed Doubles uses the men’s Open weights for both partners, and every division runs the same 8 × 1 km.
All weights below come from the official 26/27 rulebooks (Singles, Doubles and Relay). HYROX publishes kilograms only; pounds are rounded conversions.
HYROX weights by division (2026/27)

| Wall Balls | 100 reps | 4 kg (9 lb) | 6 kg (13 lb) | 9 kg (20 lb) |
Sled weights include the sled. The SkiErg and rower start at damper 6 in every division, and you can change the setting during your effort. Between every station you run 1 km, for 8 km in total.
Which column does your division use?
HYROX only has three sets of weights. Every division, from singles to Relay, uses one of them:
| Division | Weights used |
|---|---|
| Women (Open), Doubles Women | Women (Open) |
| Men (Open), Women Pro, Doubles Men, Doubles Women Pro, Mixed Doubles | Men (Open) · Women Pro |
| Men Pro, Doubles Men Pro | Men Pro |
| Relay Women / Relay Men | Women (Open) / Men (Open) |
| Mixed Relay | Each racer uses the weights for their own sex |
The column that surprises most people is the middle one: Women Pro, Doubles Women Pro and Mixed Doubles all race on the men’s Open weights.
Mixed Doubles weights: the same kit for both partners
In Mixed Doubles both partners use one set of equipment at the men’s Open weights: a 152 kg sled push, a 103 kg sled pull, 2 × 24 kg kettlebells, a 20 kg sandbag and a 6 kg wall ball. There is no lighter setting for the female partner.
The one thing that changes is the wall ball target: 2.70 m for the woman and 3.00 m for the man, with the same 6 kg ball.
That is why splitting the work matters so much in Mixed Doubles. One partner works while the other rests, and you decide when to switch. A common plan is to give the stronger partner more of the sled push and pull and share the wall balls in small sets. Agree on the plan before race day and practise the changeovers.
If you are still looking for someone to race with, RoxConnect shows who is going to each race and looking for a Doubles partner, for example at HYROX London or HYROX Madrid.
HYROX Doubles weights
Doubles is not lighter than singles (the HYROX Doubles guide covers the full rules). Each Doubles division uses exactly the same weights, distances and reps as the matching singles column above. The differences are in how you race:
- You run every kilometre together. If one partner runs ahead, the team gets a 1-minute penalty.
- You enter and leave each station together, and the station only starts when both of you are there.
- One partner works at a time (“You Go, I Go”). You can switch as often as you like, but you cannot pass the SkiErg handles or the kettlebells forward, and the wall ball changes hands only by dropping it or handing it over.
- The resting partner stays on their feet in the station’s marked area.
Your official time stops when the second partner crosses the finish line.
HYROX Relay weights
Relay has three divisions (Women, Men and Mixed) and no Pro option. Each of the four team members runs 2 × 1 km and completes two stations. The team decides who does which.
| Station | Women | Men |
|---|---|---|
| Sled Push | 102 kg | 152 kg |
| Sled Pull | 78 kg | 103 kg |
| Farmers Carry | 2 × 16 kg | 2 × 24 kg |
| Sandbag Lunges | 10 kg | 20 kg |
| Wall Balls | 4 kg | 6 kg |
A Mixed Relay team is two women and two men, and each racer uses the weights for their own sex. That gives you a real tactical choice: who takes the sleds, and who takes the runs into the wall balls. Need two more people? See how to build a Relay team, or read the full HYROX Relay guide.
Pro vs Open: how much heavier is Pro?
Men Pro adds 50 kg to both sleds, 8 kg to each farmers carry kettlebell, 10 kg to the sandbag and 3 kg to the wall ball compared with Men (Open). Women Pro moves up to the full men’s Open weights, but keeps the 2.70 m wall ball target.
Distances, reps and running are identical in Open and Pro, so the jump is all strength.
Age groups and weights
The weights do not change by age group at regular races. Athletes can enter the Pro divisions up to and including the 80+ age groups. At the HYROX World Championships, athletes aged 60 and over qualify through the Open division and race on Open weights.
Frequently asked questions
How heavy is the HYROX sled push?
The sled push is 102 kg for Women (Open), 152 kg for Men (Open) and Women Pro, and 202 kg for Men Pro. Every figure includes the weight of the sled, and the distance is always 50 m (4 × 12.5 m).
What weights do Mixed Doubles use in HYROX?
Mixed Doubles uses the men's Open weights for both partners: 152 kg sled push, 103 kg sled pull, 2 × 24 kg farmers carry, 20 kg sandbag and a 6 kg wall ball. Only the wall ball target changes: 2.70 m for the woman and 3.00 m for the man.
Are HYROX Doubles weights lighter than singles?
No. Doubles teams use the same weights, distances and reps as the matching singles division. The difference is that you split the work at each station with your partner, while both of you run every kilometre together.
What wall ball weight does HYROX use?
Wall balls are 100 reps in every division: 4 kg for Women (Open), 6 kg for Men (Open), Women Pro and Mixed Doubles, and 9 kg for Men Pro. The target is 2.70 m for women and 3.00 m for men.
Do HYROX sled weights include the sled?
Yes. The rulebook lists the sled push and sled pull weights including the sled, so 152 kg means sled plus plates, not 152 kg of plates on top.
Does HYROX publish weights in pounds?
No. The official rulebooks list kilograms only. The pound figures in this guide are conversions rounded to the nearest pound, so they are a guide for training, not the official numbers.
